Blue Bear Inn Policies
All our rooms are non-smoking including all areas around the inn. Also no candles or incense please. We can direct you to outdoor locations where you may smoke. If you smoke in your room there will be a $250 cleaning charged to your bill.
Per New Hampshire liquor laws, outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property. We have a full liquor license and are happy to provide anything you need
Cellphone coverage inside is reliable. We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the Blue Bear Inn.
Standard check-in is between 4:00–8:00 PM. If you plan to arrive before 4 PM or after 8 PM, arrangements must be made in advance. Early check-in (before 4 PM) may be available based on room readiness and incurs a $40 fee. Late check-in (after 8 PM) must be arranged in advance and incurs a $50 fee.
Check-out time is 11 AM.
- Late Checkout (12:00 PM): $40, Subject to availability.
- Extended Late Checkout (1:00 PM): $75, Only available when there is no same-day arrival.

When you book, a deposit of 25% per room will be charged to your credit card. The remainder of your stay will be charged 7 days prior to your stay.
If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation: Call or email us at least 15 days prior to your arrival date (30 days if the entire inn is booked for the same event) for a refund of your deposit less a $25 service charge per room booked. No refunds for cancellations 14 days or less before your arrival date. We advise you to add Travel Protection at time of booking to protect against cancellations.
Dog-friendly rooms are available for a non-refundable additional fee of $25 per night. In accordance with health regulations, dogs are not permitted in dining areas unless they are registered service animals performing specific tasks for their owner. Please call ahead if you would like to bring your dog or have a service animal.
